Vacations Close To Almonaster La Real Mosque

Breakfast was amazing! Clean rooms, pool, etc. Only con was there are no hours of quiet time posted. One night, a couple two patio’s away, were very loud. Keep me up until 1am! When I called to ask for assistance, the receptionist told me there was nothing he could do. Also, be aware of the loud barking dog a few blocks away.

We stayed at the Editory by the Sea for 3 nights. For such a big hotel, there are about 12 parking spots in front of the hotel, else you need to avail yourself of the free public parking that is close by (which we did for 2 nights). The hotel is currently rated as a 5-star, but it is really a 4-star hotel for the following reasons: - The room amenities and quality are very in-line with other 4-star hotels - Breakfast is plentiful, but the quality of the food is 4-star - Hotel amenities indoor/outdoor pool are not heated, sauna/showers are standard - Gym is standard We ate dinner at the hotel and it was delicious each night - a definite step-up from breakfast. The serving staff were super friendly and made dinner enjoyable. The cleaning staff who made up the room did a cursory job, never really cleaning the bathroom properly - hairs on the counter/floor were not cleaned. On the flip side, the hotel is very conveniently situated, a close walkable distance to Ponte de Piedade, 2 beaches, the boardwalk and a 20 minute walk to town. We chose a room with a sea view and it was nice to enjoy the evenings on the balcony. The hotel staff were knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend, but do not expect a 5-star experience.

Couldn’t fault a thing. Amazing for our 2 year old and staff went above and beyond. Will be back next year

Nice to be able to spend time with the family in the same unit rather than multiple rooms in a hotel.

Beautiful hotel, pool immaculate and rooms lovely. Cleaned rooms every day and all staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was sumptuous,would highly recommend this hotel if you want a total relax. Sept was lovely time to go, high twenties and loads of sunbeds available.
