“Excellent hotel and highly recommend to all. Location is perfect. Right in the centre of Buxton. Very beautiful and surrounded by lovely cafes, bars, restaurants. There isn’t a car park on site so I parked in the train station which cost about £5 for 24 hours and was 2 mins walk away. Room was very nicely appointed. Lovely and quiet. Felt private. Bathroom luxurious. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Staff all very friendly and polite. Local and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and served...

“El alojamiento Ensi muy muy antiguo y proporcionalmente con escasez de dotaciones en las habitaciones (pocos enchufes irregularidad en la calefacción….) el camino desde la carretera al Hotel completamente a oscuras sin ningún tipo de iluminación por la noche…… lo cual compensaba por el trato del personal que fue estupendo”

“Our stay was very average for such a grand hotel. The room felt like we were stopping in the servants quarters rather than a nice hotel. It was small and basic but clean and we got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was good. Parking here can be difficult if you turn up in the evening and there is a charge. Great location for all that Buxton has to offer and very convenient for the many restaurants and bars.”

“Nice clean room. Large, had 2 single and double beds. Room was off the courtyard, so easy to access and minimal noise carried over from the pub. Pleasant service. Note that need to use key card to turn on power in the room. Would stay again.”

“La habitación olía a cañerías y estaba muy mal iluminada. Por el precio pagado, el baño dejaba mucho que desear. Al WC le faltaba la tapa, había mucho moho en el techo del baño y la grifería estaba vieja y faltaban piezas. Había una lámpara de techo justo encima de la ducha que no se ajustaba bien al techo - un peligro! “La atención del personal, excelente. Tiene muchas barreras arquitectónicas, muy incómodo para acceder a las habitaciones, muy antigua la habitación, se puede mejorar la estética, camas muy comidas, el entorno es previido”
