We really like the breakfast option. It was hot and very healthy and all you can eat.

The location is convenient… With respect to the room, the space underneath the bed was very dusty and contained lost slippers… For people who are older, the design of the room can be trip hazards - there is a step up to the sleeping area and the bathroom has a high raised door sill.
Super convenient location for alishan train, night market and tourist attractions. The hotel only owns a couple floors of the building so you share the lift with other businesses to reception. They have internal lifts to the rooms itself. The entrance itself looked dodgy but when you get to the reception floor it looked like a nice place to stay at. Super good value stay.
Great location and good service but that’s where it ends. Our room had a single blanket on a double bed, the bath was full of “body” hair and the bathroom was covered in water due to leaking appliances. I would recommend you look else where.
The front desk staff had an extremely poor attitude. Check-in was supposed to be at 14:00, but the hotel arbitrarily decided to force guests to wait until 15:00. The facilities are outdated, and there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms at all! Please stop lying to guests and claiming you have Wi-Fi! Perhaps they think that being located in the park area means they’ll always have customers anyway, so they treat guests with complete disregard and show absolutely no proper hotel service standards or attitude. I strongly do not recommend staying here.
This is a lousy cheap hotel with a high price tag, but there are few choices in the area.
Our first impression at the hotel front was terrible; when we started a check-in conversation, another foreigner guest interrupted in. The receptionist held off my check-in and started taking care of the interrupter.
Few employees speak acceptable level of English.
My partner said, "Oh, we would need at least two night stay to enjoy Alishan fully, but I wouldn't stay at the hotel more than half night."
Worst nights stay as far as we can remember. This hotel is dreadful, do not stay here.
The staff were rude on arrival, contesting the check-in time after we'd had a long journey and the booking clearly stated 2pm. The following morning cleaning staff were screaming down the corridor at each other pre-9am.
The room was disgusting, my university house was cleaner. I wonder when this room was genuinely last cleaned, the floor was dirty, dusty and sticky. The bathroom was full of mould. The bath was filthy and the bathroom floor was wet from a leak from the toilet.
The outdoor temperature was 4Celsius for our stay and the hotel had no heating at all. It was awful, we asked for an extra blanket which we had to then pay an extra 100TWD cleaning fee for, which seems particularly unreasonable if they are not going to put the heating on. We had to fill 4 plastic water bottles with boiling water to try and get warm.
To top it off, we got a wake-up call that we did not ask for at 4.50am.
