The motel is well located in the city centre, close to shops and supermarkets, and the WiFi was stable. However, my ground-floor room faced the parking area, and when I slightly opened the curtain, a stranger outside started talking to me, which made me feel unsafe. The room also had a strong musty smell, so it was hard to relax. I hope the management improves ventilation and security for guests.

The room itself was clean and provided outdoor seating at the unit. Asked about laundry facilities but told not operating. BBQ area not useable, needed a good clean so couldn’t sit there. Pool closed. Facilities need to be available all year round.

Second time around

Still needs TLC but service was very good. They looked after my luggage for a couple of weeks between visits while my car was repaired. Pool needed maintenance... broken ladder but a good spot for a dip.

Three nights was enough. It was noisy at times in the front and back. There was no breakfast. The washer was broken and it sounded like it wouldn’t be fixed anytime soon but at least the laundromat was a few minutes walk. The shower head had gunk on it and a dead moth was my shower companion. I did like the flow and constant temperature of the shower. Room was spacious and clean. Easy to walk around the city core.

Clean but basic

The Motel is conveniently located in town, a short walk to Coles and Woolworths, as well as the main mall in town where there are cafes and art shops. The Motel itself is clean but basic. The gates are shut at night however from my room you could hear them being open/shut by other guests. It felt safe. Unfortunately, both times I stayed here, the shower only had cold water in the morning (it had hot water at night).
