Needs some work

We’ve stayed here before, and the property looked dirtier and worn down. The water heater is enough for 1 shower, so lots of cold showers and fights to be first in the shower! Easy communication with the property. The terrace is the treasure of this place!

Great location for a short stay

The apartment is in a great location in the heart of the old town of Alicante with museums, attractions and the beach all within walking distance. There are many bars a stones throw away which is great if you like a drink but it can get a little noisey at night on the weekends. As the area is in the old town there are many stairs and sloping streets around which could be difficult for those with mobility difficulties. The apartment was fairly clean, well presented and with a well equipped open-plan kitchen. It has more than enough space for a family of four. The staff at the reception which is located in another building a minutes walk away were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall a pleasant stay and I would stay here again.

Super zentrale Lage, einige Minuten vom Hafen und Strand entfernt. Beim Platz Quijano mit direktem Blick auf die Burg Santa Barbara. Wunderschöne neue oder frisch renovierte Liegenschaft. Habe eine grosse 2 stöckige Wohnung mit Terrasse erhalten und war ĂŒber die Grösse und den Komfort ĂŒberglĂŒcklich. Surprisingly good!

Great location in old town near the Santa Barbara elevator, restaurants, the harbour and the beach. Easy to check-in, friendly staff, clean room in good condition, nice beds. We were able to find free parking nearby. Perfect for shorter stays.

Tres bon appartement, bien situé.

Dans le coeur de la vielle ville. A proximitĂ© de tout, la rĂ©ception est a moins de 100 m. Si vous souhaitez du repos attention aux week-end car il y a des bars a proximitĂ© qui font beaucoup de bruit, ce n’est pas genant si vous etes un couche-tard.

Supernöjda med lÀgenheten

Vi bodde i en lÀgenhet Apartamentos El Carmen med vÄra 2 tonÄrsbarn (13 och 16 Är), och Àr jÀtte nöjda. FrÀscht och rent stÀdat, sköna sÀngar och verkligen centralt bra lÀge i Alicante. Trevlig stÀdpersonal. LÀgenheten passade oss perfekt med tvÄ sovrum, tvÄ toaletter, vÀlutrustat kök med diskmaskin och tvÀttmaskin. Det ingick liten och bra frukostbuffé som serverades pÄ "systerhotellet" La Milagrosa. Vi hade Àven tillgÄng till Milagrosas fina takterrass. Det enda negativa var incheckningen. Detta dÄ personalen meddelat att vi bokat lÀgenheten för tvÄ vuxna, 1 barn 13 Är och 1 spÀdbarn. Vi skulle dÄ behöva betala extra ca 10-15 EURO/natt dÄ vi alltsÄ bokat "fel". Jag kollade pÄ min Hotels.com app, och hittade att jag bokat för 2 vuxna och 2 barn, dock syntes inte barnens Äldrar via appen. Som tur var hade jag Àven en utskriven bekrÀftelse, dÀr det tydligt framgick barnens Älder, 13 och 16 Är. SÄ fort jag visade pappers bekrÀftelsen, sÄ godtog personalen det. Dock vet jag inte hur personalen hade hanterat bokningen och dÄ fortsatt krÀvt eventuell extra kostnad om jag inte haft utskriven bekrÀftelse med mig...... Men Àven fast det strulade och kÀndes "skumt" vid incheckningen, sÄ Àr vi mycket nöjda med vÄr vistelse pÄ Apartamentos El Carmen.

Great location

On arrival we were allocated a street level apartment with metal shutters on the windows. We asked to change to a room where we could let light in through the window and the reception staff were helpful and accommodating. The second apartment was in another property belonging to the same owners - the Loft Carmen apts. it was large, clean, light and airy but very basic and lacking in comfort. There was no chopping board, can opener, scissors etc however there were toiletries provided in the bathroom. The location was very central and only minutes from all the main attractions. There were building works going on just opposite our building but it didn't really bother us as we were out all day. The wifi signal was great.

Short walk to beach and restaurants

There were some problems with house keeping and maintenance but solved immediately after reported it. It was quite noisy at night until 2-3 am. Reception staffs at the B & B are nice and helpful. You are able to leave luggage and have a shower at the B and B after check-out.

l'unico problema riscontrato (grosso) e' che il venerdi notte ed il sabato notte , i locali dietro all'appartamento fanno grande festa fino alle 5 del mattino , impedendo di dormire. Dettaglio simpatico , il noleggio gratuito dell'ombrellone alla reception.

Apartamentos Carmen hadde en veldig sentral beliggenhet i gamlebyen i Alicante, og nÊrt til stranden. Selve gata var stille og rolig - kanskje ikke Alicantes fineste strÞk, men vi hadde ingen problemer. Leiligheten var romslig, ren og fin. Ganske behagelige senger og veldig okey bad. Det er ikke frokost tilgjengelig i bygget, men man kunne kjÞpe dette hos den nÊrliggende Bed & Breakfasten. Mtp pÄ prisen (3 euro pr pers) var det en helt grei frokost med toast, frukt, yoghurt, juice og kaffe. Om man Þnsker Ä bo i en leilighet og samtidig sentralt kan Apartamentos Carmen absolutt anbefales. Litt dÄrlig utstyrt kjÞkken dog (ingen utstyr til matlaging).
