This is a truly great place to stay in a beautiful setting. We had not been to this part of the country before and chose it as it was close to Cadwell Park. Lovely room, facilities and a beautifully decorated eating area. Fantastic breakfasts! Will be back next year!
The property was absolutely immaculate, clean and tidy throughout. A great sleep in a very comfy bed was followed by a lovely cooked full English in the morning. The hosts were great and have transformed the building into a fantastic place to stay. I would totally recommend a stay at The Vine to anyone.
We arrived quite late but this was accommodated easily. Lee met us, showed us our room, which was beautiful and took our breakfast order.
So many little things had been thought of, even down to make up removal pads.
The breakfast was amazing and served with a smile.
There was no road noise. We will be back.
I am a regular visitor to the Vine, everything about it is perfect, from the fab hosts, to.the spotlessly clean perfectly appointed rooms to the the lovel garden to the delicious homemade cakes and the awesome breakfast...Just SUPERB
On arrival at the vines and pulling into the large secure car park we recieved a very warm welcome from Lee. After running through the check in we were shown to out room which was beautifully presnted and very comfortable. Complete with a very nice en suite.
After my partner mentioned it was a birthday treat Lee knocked on our door with two bottles of prosecco which was a lovely touch.
The bed and pillows were very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep
The breakfast the following morning was delicious and very well presented, the best i've had this year.
Altogether i'd definitely recommend this first class b&b to anyone and if in the area again would definitely return.
Thanks Lee and joe for a very enjoyable stay, and all the best in the future
We only had the pleasure of staying at the Vine for one night but would have gladly stayed for ever what a amazing hotel the host Joe was outstanding from the moment we arrived at this most beautiful hotel you are greeted by the lovely Joe she showed us to our room which was like a five star hotel room sockets galore wardrobe dressing table cabinets tea and coffee facilities including herbal teas biscuits homemade cakes the list goes on oh yes sorry hairdryer dressing gowns slippers ok I’ll stop now now to breakfast where do we start it was like have a four course meal all fresh produce juices coffee teas you name Joe provided it as well as friendly conversation it was like chatting to a friend The outside of the hotel just a beautiful sits in lovely grounds which you are welcome to sit in I could go on but I think I’m running out of characters so let’s just end with if you want a beautiful hotel host food and surroundings this is the place for you thank you again Joe for a lovely stay well done Sue and Steve
Just awesome, lovely host, incredibly comfortable bed, spotlessly clean, fabulous homemade carrot cupcakes...no they weren't Cupcake size...more like big muffins AND a really good breakfast.. granola was great and full English so good...one of tthe things I look for is properly cooked fresh tomatoes and they were, even had smoked bacon.
Plenty of free on site parking in a really quiet location with a nice garden
Probably the best B&B that I have stayed in, in the UK. The property is beautifully decorated, with spacious contemporary comfortable rooms. What a good night's rest and we received a lovely welcome pack on arrival. The hostess is lovely and we were well looked after. What an delicious breakfast ! The village was quiet and you can get food close by. I would definitely go again. Very convenient if you have an engagement in Skegness. It's only 20 min away.
We had a wonderful stay at this quite new B&B. The owners have restored the building, an old pub, in a very attractive way. The attention to detail and the personal touches provide a very comfortable and inviting environment.
The rooms are of a high standard with lots of little touches that make you feel at home e.g. home baked cakes in the room and fresh milk for tea or coffee.
Breakfast was really outstanding and a great starter for the day. The options include, besides the very good Full English, e.g. a really delicious homemade fruit and granola compote, croissants and eggs with smoked salmon. You can´t want more.
The Vine is located in a calm little village, away from the hustle and noise of the seaside-resorts, but still close enough to get to the beaches quickly.
We wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
This is now the third time I have stayed at the Vine.
I keep coming because everything about it is perfect. The host is so lovely and welcoming that I don’t want to leave, the whole building is maintained to an exceptional standard, the rooms are spotless and have everything a guest could possibly need, the beds are incredibly comfortable(I'venow tried two different rooms, the complementary homemade cakes are delicious and as for the cooked breakfast...I am a connoisseur of cooked breakfasts, it is one of the finest full English breakfasts I have ever eaten. And is consistently one of the finest full English's
From the homemade granola/yogurt/fresh fruit pot to the real butchers bacon and sausage to the properly cooked fresh tomatoes to the fresh eggs (if you wanted to see where the eggs came from...the chickens live just behind the car park) even the beans taste good, with really nice toast. I look forward to breakfast.
Everything about the Vine is right and it all comes together to deliver and outstanding experience.
I only checked out this morning and I'm working out an excuse for a return visit
Very friendly, approachable owner. Everything provided for our overnight stay. Extra effort made for me as a vegan - oatmilk, vegan cooked breakfast and even a vegan complimentary cake! Sumptuous bedlinen, the whole nuilding was scrupulously clean.
I didn’t want to leave!! Lee is a lovely landlady with high standards, from the moment I got there it was very welcoming and cosy. 1 night business trip that I could have stayed longer! In fact, Lee almost ended up with me being a permanent lodger! I struggled to get out of the very cosy bed, only to drag myself into the shower which was amazing & then struggled to get of that! Breakfast was lovely, everything was fresh, nicely cooked and presented really well. I will definitely go back there when I’m working in the area again, or even with my partner as a mini break. Thank you Lee, I look forward to seeing you soon.
Not great - absolutely excellent!
The attention to detail as well as the welcoming feel, makes The Vine more like a stylish boutique hotel than a B&B. Make up remover pads, sewing kit and emery board in the gorgeous ensuite shower room. Plus a superb choice of teas and coffee in the room, with handmade blondies are wonderful. The bed is perfectly firm with a view of the sun rising over fields to wake up to. Breakfast options include homemade fruit and granola compote (generous enough to share) and eggs and smoked salmon, gluten free and plant milks provided. We could not fault a thing.
Worth every penny.

Everything about the place and the owners was fabulous. Friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The love, the time and passion that’s gone into this beautiful place shines through the minute you’re welcomed through the door.
The breakfast was fresh and delicious, and plenty of it.
We will stay here again. Absolutely no doubt about it.
Lovely property and lovely hostess. Gave us recommendations for places to eat and we tried one and it was lovely. Great breakfast, super tasty and good quality. Decorated so beautifully throughout. Would definitely recommend and hope to be back in the future.
Stayed for one night at The Vine based on reviews. Fabulous accommodation and hosted impeccably by Lee. The Vine (actually in South Thoresby) is a tastefully converted pub that retains that old charm but with a modern twist. Rooms are of a 5* standard and lots of little touches that make you feel at home e.g. home baked cakes in the room and fresh milk for tea or coffee. We looked forward to breakfast in the old bar and weren’t disappointed. For a small B&B there was loads of choice for cereals etc with the cooked breakfast chosen the night before. All in all, well recommended and a great base for the Lincolnshire coast and Lincolnshire Wolds. Thanks to Lee and Carol.
What a fantastic hidden gem. I have stayed all over the world and have been lucky enough to stay in some beautiful places. This place is right up there. I would give it a 5 star rating. Attention to detail, service and ambiance was spot on. This place is one we should be proud to show off to visitors from other countries.
Really enjoyed our stay at The Vine. Our room was comfy and clean, and the homemade cupcakes and shortbread were an added treat to settle in with.
Lee and Carol were welcoming and accommodating, and the breakfast chats with both and the other guests made a nice start to each day. Breakfast was lovely. Lots of choice, including vegetarian options.
The Vine is located in a pretty little village, away from the hustle and bustle, but still close enough to the towns, beaches and attractions to get out and fill your day. And if you're struggling for ideas, Lee is on hand and happy to help with suggestions.
Wouldn't hesitate to visit again.
Wonderful night stay at this relatively new B&B. The owners have restored this building to a very high standard. The attention to detail and the personal touches provide an incredibly comfortable and warm environment.Breakfast was delicious and a great starter for the day's travels. Will definitely return to this friendly 'home-from-home' when we are next in the wolds.
