The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and even though the motel is located on highway 12 it was quiet for sleeping at night. On improving the property, I would have to say the rooms were small and could you use an update. Since the cabins were built in 1948 it follows the style of that time period, and could you use an update. The bathroom facilities were small and old. And update would be welcomed.

Very close in proximity to Alexandria Bay. We could even walk. You will cross the street then the road is calm and a nice walk to downtown. About 1mile to downtown. The property owner is professionally attentive. He checked on us daily to ensure we were happy. The housekeepers came daily to refresh the room. They were professional and helpful.

Great place to stay

Our stay was great! It was quiet and charming and the all the staff there is great. The motel is being update and becoming more Modernized by the day! The rooms are all very comfortable however and we love staying there whenever we can.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay. Fred was so friendly and had some fantastic suggestions for local restaurants and hiking, all dog friendly. Our little cabin was clean and cozy and it was nice watching a storm roll in while we sat in the chairs our front.
