Independence Matters

Everything you would hope and expect an Independent hotel would be. - great spaces - breakfast team worked like unintrusive clock work (Team 🇹🇭 👍 👌) - friendly and helpful reception staff - great furnishings and artwork - relaxed - perhaps not for you if you like Chain Hotel vibes. I don't, but thats just my choice.

Perfect location in Ålesund

Hotel Noreg is in a great location in Ålesund. We found it was easy walking to the Havila ferry terminal, shopping, bus stop, restaurants, and the harbor. The rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The breakfast has many options and runs for several hours so there is no need to rush. Most importantly the staff is kind and very helpful. We booked two rooms for one night on our arrival and then booked two rooms for 3 nights on our departure. Both stays were excellent.

I read some negative reviews of this place and I have no idea why anyone would rate this place poorly. It is excellent accommodations. Great breakfast. The only negative is that the ad says something about a bar and lounge - uh - no. There is a little bar by the reservation desk with a couple of chairs but that’s it. All in all a great place to stay.

Bra: Koselig personale. Helt gjennomsnittlig frokostbuffet. Gode romslige rom med relativt god støydemping. TV med mulighet til å logge på Netflix og YouTube. Kan forbedres: Noe dårlig rengjort i do og vask samt div flekker i sofa og på veggen. Sluken i dusjen var tett og en lampe fungerte ikke, men jeg informerte personal og de takket for beskjed og skulle fikse det med en gang.
