This property is very unique and beautifully designed. Worth every penny. But not much to do. It was wonderful for one night. Photographer's dream. Breakfast was delicious and the grounds were beautiful. Make sure to check out the light house port in Nazare.

The place was nice, the staff was very nice. The one thing I was very surprised with is that I had 10 underwear and 10 tshirts washed for $80Euros If I had known I would have bought new ones. I think surprising guests with such high amenities rates could be advised.

This has the makings of an outstanding hotel. The facility is remarkable -- the rooms are great and the building is an well upgraded version of the convent that you will likely visit next door. The restaurant has terrific staff and food for dinner. But service overall for the rest of the hotel is ... not there yet. No juice at breakfast. Check-in was... odd. Lots of kinks to work out. It's a new hotel and that shows. For the prices they are charging they really need to get that sorted out.

The hotel occupies about a third of the monastery and has been fully renovated. It is very clean and quite spacious. Definitely a very unique experience and there is no other place like this. Great water pressure in the shower. The included breakfast is spectacular. The center of the city is just behind the hotel building - a quick walk to shops and restaurants.
