We were traveling with 3 teens the 2 rooms with 4full bunkbeds were perfect. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We were only there over night so I can't comment on much.

The Monterey Motel was very clean and spacious. The bed was firm & the pillows comfortable. I booked very early for the Alburquerque Balloon Festival, so I got an excellent rate. Other family members who booked later paid a bit more. The motel is very quiet until around 6;30am when traffic picks up on Route 66. I would definitely stay here again. It was nice to have the outdoor pool, even though it was a bit chilly in October.

Comfortable and remarkably quiet, especially given the location right on Route 66. Helpful staff and nice facilities. The only issue was parking - there are not enough spaces available for every guest to park a car, which is most unusual at a motel. We had to park in the nearby neighborhood one night, and there isn't a lot of space there either. Otherwise, great experience, we would return!

Nice place but not such a great area. A lot of homeless. I actually say a woman walking completely naked in front of the hotel. Our room was across from the bar and it was fairly loud on Fri & Sat night. Slept fine though. Nice bed, room was nice. Just didn’t love the area.

All in all good remodeled room. I know staff has a time frame to clean the room but just a little more dusting in certain areas. Other than we loved our stay beds were comfortable and not too far from old town. I will definitely stay there again. I had the double bed room with bunk beds and it was so convenient when traveling with other people and they get their own bed. Loved that I was able to check in through Expedia and just arrived to pick up keys.

Motel is in a very walkable, trendy old town area. Clean, fresh room with updated styling. On site cocktail bar is perfect. The Albuquerque Bio Park is nearby. Staff was helpful and friendly. I really liked this Route 66 renovated hotel full of charm.

This place is a find. It really qualifies as a boutique motel with the best remodel to an old motel that I've seen, Everything was tastefully appointed, large room, beautiful furnishings. Somehow we got the family room for just two of us, If you have a family this is a perfect room, with a separate room with four full or possibly queen size bunks, curtain that closes on each one, cubby and light. There's a door to shut off the room if needed. Modern bathroom and fixtures, very nice staff, and even a token for a free beer or glass of wine. I would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it. About a five minute walk to Old Town.

Perfect!!! The photos on the website are accurate. The hotel is quaint with decor to match the vibe. It’s old, but it’s updated, well maintained and clean. I stayed at expensive hotels on this trip and my bed here was the most comfortable by far. I’m surprised this hotel is so inexpensive because it’s very nice. The pool area is clean with nice, comfortable lounge chairs. The staff, particularly Nikey, was so kind and helpful. Next time, I will stay at the Monterey and skip the “luxury” hotel altogether. I love this place.
