Pine cliffs Resort was incredible! Very clean, family oriented and the restaurants were exceptional. We couldn’t find anything to complain about until we had coffee at breakfast, it seemed like it was maybe instant? It was awful. However if you pay a ton of money for coffee at the bar, then you could get a good one. Seems they save the good coffee for after breakfast? Also the steakhouse was average. The other food at the steakhouse was fantastic but all of our steaks were very chewy.

The residence suites are tired and in need of refurbishment. We wouldn't recommend a garden suite due to mosquitoes at that time of year. The air-conditioning was poor. The facilities are good but need more activities for children. The arcade is poor. But the addition of the pool table and ping pong is good, apart from not being able to play after 6pm. The staff are what make this place worthwhile. We visit to use Estima football training, which is more than excellent Ben and the team of coaches are skilled, friendly and great fun! We highly recommend them for football coaching. Pine cliffs need to do something about the pitch though!

Wonderfull resort for a family holiday

This is a wonderful, large resort for a holiday with a small child. A fabulous heated indoor pool, and lots of things to do. Everything is in great condition, clean and safe. Housekeeping did a magnificent job on keeping our apartment tidy.

Pine Cliffs is a beautiful property with excellent dining — every restaurant we visited delivered on food, service, and ambiance. Truly a highlight of the stay. That said, our overall experience was mixed. Check-in felt hectic and wasn’t especially accommodating for traveling with a small child, which set a challenging tone at the start. We stayed in the residences, and personally, I wouldn’t choose that option again. They felt far from the main amenities, inconvenient to access, and not as premium as expected. The indoor pool was a big plus and clearly popular, especially during an off-season stay. It made a difference for families needing an easy activity. This may have been influenced by traveling off-season, but when we return to this area, I’d likely choose a different property. A lovely resort in many ways, just not the right fit for us this time.

We stayed in a three bedroom residence. It was spacious, traditionally decorated and well appointed with a full kitchen and washing machine & tumble dryer. The grounds are beautifully looked after with lots of grass for kids to play on. There are plenty of beds and umbrellas around the pools with pool towels stations in multiple areas. The beach restaurant has a fantastic view. All food is excellent but as expected expensive. Drinks are also expensive. There is a little mini market at the Residences but instead of using this i recommend you walk to the supermarket opposite the entrance which is well stocked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pine Cliffs and will be back again.

Cockroaches, baratas, cucarachas! Whatever you call them, they got them at this place. We booked a two week stay at this property in April. After a few day we found roaches in the kitchen. We asked to move but were told that that they would do a thorough cleaning and this would solve the problem. They said the resort is in nature and we might find the same problem if we moved to another unit. After another few days the roaches appeared again. We insisted on moving this time. Even though we were told the new unit was ready for us to move into, when we got there there was a maintenance man repairing a number of problems in the unit. He repaired a number of the electrical fixtures in the unit, but later we discovered that there were more electrical issues. We phoned and asked to have these issues addressed but no one ever came. The location is beautiful, including the beach and the swimming pools. The units themselves are well decorated. The kitchens in the residences are small and the sparely equipped. One thing that was problematic with both units was the fact that the supplied teflon frying pans were heavily scratched. The management should realize that these are unhealthy for guests to use. The seals on the windows in the first unit we rented had failed and the windows were all fogged up. It was also noisy, being close to the road. Overall, not the best experience.

This is a beautiful resort and the rooms were great, especially for a large family. The food was also superb, however EXTREMELY expensive. If you go to the exit of the resort and turn right, there are some excellent restaurants beyond a fraction of the price. The main downside is the staff and the sheer inconvenience of the resort. I found the staff and customer service to be sub par, especially for an expensive resort. There are obviously exceptions, but a lot of the staff were grumpy, unhelpful and rude. This is also a very very large resort and if you are staying away from the main hotel, be prepared to wait and wait for hotel shuttles. In the end it was such a hassle to go anywhere, we just stayed in our area of the resort. It’s a shame, because if there were constant shuttles, then the whole resort would be better and become more convenient. Also be warned there is a 20 euro daily resort fee and daily 6 euro tax.

Overall, Pine Cliffs is a good destination. However, the resort seemed understaffed at times, especially on reception and having to wait for transfers around the resort. Also, the price point of some of the restaurants is on the high side for the standard.
