Lovely accommodation set in an outstanding peaceful location, villa was decorated and finished to a very high standard, pool area was very spacious with lots of room, all staff were very welcoming, helpful and friendly throughout our stay, on site restaurant was lovely and relaxing with a nice sea view, always well looked after by Paulo and the rest of the team, breakfast was also lovely with lots of choice.

This was a beautiful stay with staff who gave us excellent service and accomodation which was clean, very comfortable and well maintained. This property was amazing. Not only was it self catering but also we had someone clean every day after us. If we wanted to use the restaurant we could however on one night we just decided just to chill and it was great having options of a fridge, and oven. The stop couldn’t be more helpful even if they tried, they’ve been to have a backwards every opportunity they could. To be fair we loved the property we loved the pool. We loved the heat. We loved the view but it was definitely the staff that made it for us. Can’t wait to come back when the spa opens in March 2026

We booked a week for our honeymoon and Masana Algarve exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The apartment provided all the amenities needed, clean, spacious and very comfortable. I went on a girls trip to Albufeira and we stayed at Masana Algarve. First of all, the property is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and relaxing. Our very modern villa included everything we needed and more and was beautifully decorated and clean - it felt like we were on a retreat. There are beautiful nature trails to the beach and amazing views from the grounds. The staff were exceptional! At the front desk (Margarida and Rui) greeted us with a warm welcome and made us feel right at home and the service team at the restaurant and bar (Paulo, Miguel and Andre) made every meal enjoyable and we will not forget their kindness. The hotel manager, Antonio made sure we were taken care of for my birthday celebration and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I cannot say enough good things about Masana. If you are traveling to the Algarve, you must stay here.

What a beautiful resort! The morning breakfast was delicious with a lot of food (pastries, meat and cheese board, bowl of fruit plus you can order off their menu….omelette, pancake, avocado toast). The servers are very attentive and also quite entertaining. We looked forward to seeing them each and every morning. The restaurant for dinner is also quite good too. The grounds are beautifully maintained and the pool is quite large. Both the pool and breakfast area overlook the ocean. There are stairs leading down to a private beach that you can explore. No beach chairs buts the views and backdrop are well worth a trek down the stairs. Only negative was the parking. We rented a MG and it barely fit in the parking space. Most cars took up one and a quarter of another space. Not a big deal for us because the resort wasn’t full but it will be during the busy season.

It’s an uncommon review where you almost run out of superlatives But in the case of Masana Algarve, the setting is a nice quiet neighborhood away from the somewhat congested center of town and yet within walking distance of some nice grocery shops and little bistros. It’s just a quiet away from the bustle place. Your experience starts, as in our case, when our great very nice receptionist walked us to where our room was and went over all the features very carefully in detail, but what was stunning were the views! Everywhere you looked, between the ocean and the beautiful pool and the lovely grounds They were eye fetching in every direction and while their beach is a bit fickle due to the tides, just a short walk and you find a nice long beach to walk in the mornings where you can see you what was affected by the overnight tides, but are well insulated from them. Their main restaurant, while a bit pricey, has excellent food and wonderful service but the real secret is a small restaurant that’s located just by the pool which serves throughout the day. I had an excellent omelette and my wife had an excellent snack to tide us over till dinner We found walking the local streets to get downtown to be quite easy nice wide sidewalks good directions in the view of the Tunnel beach in the areas around it were stunning But the pearl of the trip was the Masana Algarve itself, friendly staff, lovely settings and a picture perfect room.
