Quiet hotel, clean rooms. Stuff was helpful and welcoming. Ample parking on site. Breakfast options were few (e.g. every day scrambled eggs & potatoes), but usually what is offered at similar hotels. My room was at the end of corridor, and wi-fi coverage was not great, with speeds of 1-3Mbps (yes, three) and connection often falling (I had to use instead my phone tethering, good I have unlimited coverage there). I'm cutting a star for this. Maybe closer to reception is different...

The room was spotless and had all the right amenities. The lobby had a cozy fire going and fresh drinks and coffee at all times. They offered a different soup of the day in the lobby daily which I thought was so old-fashioned and adorable and comforting. The breakfasts were a standout. I love this place. It could look abandoned from the front due to construction on the restaurant. Just drive around the back side. Why do I love this place? 1. It has the best breakfast that I have ever experienced at at hotel at any price. This makes such a difference in the stay. 2. They have GOOD soup to eat in the lobby every evening. 3. There are lots of places to walk a pet. 4. The staff were really nice and the place felt like home. I will never stay anywhere else in the area again.

This is a beautiful hotel, beautifully renovated. The staff is so friendly. It is very clean. The only small complaint is the breakfast was not very hot and we didn’t have a lot of choice. But I give it a 9.5/10. I would stay there again.
