I should have known at check in when the clerk checked us in and only handed us the key. I had to ask which way to go to the room, if there was an elevator (there wasn't), and when and where the breakfast is available. In the room, the floor was so dirty that when we walked on it with bare feet they got filthy. The headboard of the bed had random holes in it. The king size bed was comfortable though. The door for the room had gaps on the upper left, the lower right, and the bottom (an inch or two). I do have pictures. Light from the hall could be seen through these gaps and hall noise made it feel like we had no privacy. I am not sure why Expedia rated this hotel at 8.0. The only good thing was the room rate, so I guess that you get what you pay for. Not sure if I can trust the Expedia rating in the future and I certainly will not book a Quality Inn again. Very disappointed.
