The property provides a sense of home to guests, a different experience from a regular hotel. The building is fancy and well decorated. The service, especially breakfast is great.

This bed and breakfast is a wonderful bargain. Tina is extremely welcoming and makes a fantastic breakfast. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again in the future. The interior of this historic building is gorgeous, by the way.

We love this place and will use it whenever we have things to do in the greater Capital region. And, Troy is a hidden treasure in many ways.

Our host Tina, the owner of the B&B, was awesome. She made everyone feel welcome and cared for. The B&B is very clean and I really enjoyed my stay. Tina made breakfast and even made everyone feel comfortable by making introductions. If I visit the area in the future, I will check Tina's place first for availability. Highly recommended.

Loved it. Especially the owner’s telling of the building’s history and paranormal experiences. No ghosts disturbed our restful night
Delicious hot and cold breakfast including fresh fruit

This a quirky old style. B and B. There are many common rooms, and guests are invited to use the, chat with the other guests and with the owner herself. Our bathroom was private and just down the hall- it locked to ensure that no other guests used it. The breakfast was plentiful, tasty and made to order. The house is beautiful, well cared forever, and obviously lived in by the host.

A very cozy B&B with a great host. Conveniently located with easy access to the Empire State bike trail. We were allowed to keep our bikes inside in the lobby. The Inn has the patina of age but is well kept. Cakes, cookies and snacks are available 24 hours a day. Included is a full hot breakfast! We enjoyed our stay immensely but we were very wary of the surrounding area. Downtown Troy has great restaurants and is only 1 mile away but we Ubered there instead of walking or biking.

Dead bugs on floor and under bed, cobwebs on ceiling, house a mess, heard the cars and trucks on road as if they were in room, was not informed prior that bathroom was separate (one floor down and across the house) from bedroom. We were ready to stay even with all of this until we found bedbugs (photographed and verified). Then we left. Travelocity tried to intervene - owner hung up on them twice and refused reimbursement.
