Bedroom at the front of the property took on a lot of road noise. 2 yard light illuminating sign deflects much light into the room. Could us some black out or improved shades if you prefer a dark room John was great, breakfast was great too. Comfy bed

This was a beautiful house, and the host was extremely gracious and thoughtful. also, the custom breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again when we visit the area, and I've already recommended it to several people.

John is a very cordial host and he made us feel like old friends upon our arrival. The building is an old farmhouse that is updated just enough to give it modern touches but also keep it's historic character while the decor is whimsical and creative in it's hodge podge way.

Magical stay in Troy

It was magical! The host was so welcoming and kind without being at all overbearing. I slept very well, got a some good work done (not easy in every hotel situation), and had what I believe to be the BEST breakfast I've ever had at a hotel/B&B. 100% *will* stay here again!

John has created a beautiful and creative home, in an impressive historic house. The breakfast with seasonal berries, frittata, bacon and coffee was perfect. It’s like visiting a good friend

We had the most memorable and enjoyable stay with John on our way down from Lake George back to New York City. We were met with the warmest welcome. It was like staying with an old friend in a house you always look forward to visiting. I can highly recommend a stay here if you are in the area or not.

The host and owner is a fantastic host. From check in to check out it was a very personable and unique experience. The room we stayed in was both beautifully decorated and comfortable. Eclectic B & B with charm and atmosphere

Sweet B & B, caring owner. Wonderful breakfast outside at patio/bistro tables. Just a few rooms. Comfortable bed, very nice newly renovated bathroom. The house is historically old, filled with eclectic collection of all kinds of art, antiques, even a coat of armor! Nice owner.

The perfect place for a night away! We were so relaxed and comfortable. John (the innkeeper) is an utter delight, and has found just the right balance of friendly banter and giving guests the private time they seek. His recommendations for local restaurants and things to do was spot on, and the homemade breakfast he made was fabulous. Wish we lived closer so we could hang out! We can’t wait for the opportunity to return!

Best Inn EVER!!!

My partner and I had a wonderful time at the Gardner Farm Inn. We stayed in the stunning and eclectic John Waters room. Our bed was hard to get out of since it was so cozy and comfortable. We had an enormous walk-in closet and a large bathroom with everything we needed. Every morning, we were greeted with 5-star breakfasts and excellent hospitality. The host John is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever met, and I'm glad I got to stay in his beautiful home. I highly recommend the Gardner Farm Inn for anyone staying in the area.
