Chalets zonder het beloofde uitzicht op de bergen.

We hadden een chalet met mountainview geboekt. Bij aankomst bleek het een klein huisje te zijn, met 1 zijraam dat uitkeek op de blinde muur van het huisje ernaast. Geen enkele mountainview. Bij de receptie werd verteld dat het een "Mountain Lodge" was dat inderdaad geen uitzicht op de bergen had, maar dat Hotels.com geen keuzemogelijkheid had om het goed aan te geven. Na veel heen en weer gepraat hebben we bijbetaald en omgeboekt naar een sunset chalet. Daarbij werd eerst nog geprobeerd om ons meer te laten betalen dan de standaard prijs die op de balie stond aangegeven. Het Sunset Chalet was prima, ruim en met een mooi uitzicht.

Nous nous sommes sentis un peu seul dans l'établissement juste 4 clients avec nous , l'endroit était désert , seuls également au restaurant le soir. Nous en avons deduit que nous etions en morte saison Pour information pas d'alcool dans l'établissement, contrairement à ce qui est précisé dans certains guides.

Sehr faires Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Tolle Lage ganz nah am Balcony Way. Zimmer sind ausreichend ausgestattet. Das Essen war für uns super, weil es nicht die übliche internationale Küche war, sondern ein wenig orientalisch. Nettes, fleißiges Personal. Wer keinen Super-Luxus braucht, ist hier genau richtig.

Die Lage ist wunderbar. Man hat einen tollen Blick über die Landschaft auf dem Jebel Shambs. Das Essen ist auch gut und reichlich. Insgesamt eine kleine Idylle.

Avions réservé un bungalow, très bien, manque un rideau douche ou des portes Fermant la douche car c'est l'inondation à chaque fois. Réseau wifi trop faible. Petit déjeuner qui pourrait offrir un peu plus, sinon tout le reste est top, La situation permet des ballades extraordinaires dans le canyon. Très content dans l'ensemble.

Come battere i denti per il freddo in Oman

Neppure in Oman, a 2000 metri, in gennaio, si puó proporre un albergo senza riscaldamento e senza acqua calda. Non a caso eravamo gli unici ospiti di questa struttura. L'hotel così organizzato é adatto solo ai soggiorni estivi, e comunque i prezzi rimarrebbero eccessivi. D'inverno la tariffa richiesta é un furto.
