We liked how the house is well kept and appliances were working. This porperty is very good for families or groups of more than 5. Conveniently tucked a little off frim the city proper but quite close for a stroll around the beautiful town.

This cottage was clean and modern, had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Also had lovely views as it was up on a hill. Nice big windows, comfortable beds, washer/dryer. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking lodging in Northern Iceland!

Gorgeous view overlooking the fjord. Well-appointed kitchen, plenty of space, comfortable beds. Very conveniently located less than 5 minutes from Akureyi. We loved the large windows and peaceful surroundings.

These Cottages felt brand new and were contemporary and sleek with an incredible view. Ours slept 8 people so it felt luxurious with just 4. While expensive it felt worth it and was a good base for activities around Akureryi such as Mývatn, Hverir, and Húsavík. Only minor negative is that it’s on the outskirts of town but it only takes 7 minutes to be in the center. Check out the Akureryi Sundlaig it’s great for kids as well as adults if you like warm pools and hot pots.

The cottage looked down at the fjord and the town of Akureyri nestled in it -- a lovely view. The cottage was roomy and came with a good set of amenities, including a propane bbq, which was a very nice addition. It's got lot of space (easy for 6, and can even do 8) but only one double bed, the rest are singles.
