Such a great location looking out was so relaxing. There were so many places to sit drink coffee and relax. It was hard to leave and the breakfast was spectacular. I would stay here longer.1 day was not enough.

The room is pretty basic, but sufficient. The same goes for the breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for some day trips to local highlights such as Myvatn, Husavik and Akureyri.

Rooms were clean and it was lovely to have a breakfast included with a wide range of options. There were gathering areas in both the sunroom and a greenhouse that were very relaxing and set up well for small or larger groups.

The property is simple but clean and enjoyable. The staff are very nice, the breakfast was very good and the hot tub and sauna are nice as well. I would have given five stars but we had a third person in the room (a triple) and the room had a children’s bunk bed with very thin mattresses. We had three adults (including a 20 year old) who was not at all comfortable in that bed. So it could have been a great stay but missed the mark on the third bed…. Still nice though - highly recommend for two travelers.

The staff was so kind and attentive! Room and bathroom were clean and tidy. Breakfast was delicious and offered a wide variety of breakfast options. The hot tub and sauna felt so good after a long day of hiking and driving the ring road. We liked that it was quiet and off the Ring Road a bit.
