Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a superior suite near the lobby, which was spacious and conveniently located within easy walking distance to the restaurants and buffet. The food quality was excellent for an all-inclusive, with plenty of variety and solid dining options. We also enjoyed having access to the other Bahia Principe resorts via a quick shuttle ride, making it easy to spend time at the beach and take advantage of additional amenities. Dinner reservations and excursions were easy to arrange, which kept the trip stress-free. The Hacienda Market on property was a big plus and made souvenir shopping simple, with lots of options available without leaving the resort. For our final night, we upgraded to a penthouse suite, and it was absolutely worth it. The rooftop jacuzzi and open views of the Riviera Maya sky were the perfect way to end the trip. Overall, Sian Ka’an offers a relaxing atmosphere, great food, and convenient access to everything you’d want for a Mexico getaway!

Great trip at huge sprawling resort. Been many times over the years. They are becoming more money conscious at the resort and it is tiered facilities now. Stayed at the luxurious adults only, and was able to use all facilities, everywhere. Met lots of dusgruntled people who weren't 'luxury' and had restricted access to some areas. You clearly only get what you pay for. Also why should I pay $30 extra to go to an evening 'pool party' at one of the Lobbies, when I am all-inclusive? Evening entertainment was still very good. . .. I had a great time

Air con is set, changing is an illusion but it stayed cool enough. The property is beautiful and the staff is super friendly. The accommodation was roomy, comfy, and clean. The food was good considering it’s an all inclusive. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this resort.

While this is a wonderful property, it is not safe. We had cash stolen from our room. We would have put it in the safe, but it was not working and repeated requests to have it fixed were never answered. To make matters worse, security came in and, without our permission, started searching our room, including asking us to open our own wallets. In other words, they were insinuating that we we making a false report. Days later, they said they found no one entered our room because no key card was used. Keep in mind, housekeeping here routinely keep doors wide open in rooms while cleaning, or cleaning nearby rooms, often leaving them unoccupied with the door open. On our return we found out that the Canadian Government and U.S. State Department have issued travel advisories in this area due to crime. I will add that the resort itself is beautiful and quiet.

I've been traveling to this area for over 20 years and this hotel is my new favorate hotel to stay at in the Cancun/Playa Del Carmen area. I truly enjoyed how relaxing the stay was. The staff is the best at this hotel, they are super kind and attentive and truly happy to help you and make your stay better. I do feel this hotel is great for adults of all ages but it's not a huge party hotel which I prefered.
