This property was clean, but very old & in disrepair. Most notably, our non-smoking room smelled very badly of smoke. In fact, all of our items now smell like smoke. The office was closed when we go there, but luckily, someone came to the door & was responsive. We received no info on wifi, gym, & there was not even a TV in the room. The couch was torn & in very bad repair. There was lots of space including a kitchen. There are walkable food places nearby. It looks like bots are overinflating the rating at this property. It is certainly is not a 10/10.

The hotel is behind the mall, tons of areas to find food/supplies within walking distance. The gentleman at the desk was incredibly nice and friendly. We stayed in town for two nights for a tournament. Walking inside, there was a musty smell we had to air out. There must have been units upstairs, the stairs went right above our bedroom closet where there is zero insulation or noise cancellation. So at 3am when they went in and outside, it sounded like a herd of elephants.

During my initial stay, the room was clean with fresh linen. There were utensils and items in the kitchen that were clean and ready to use. There are MICE here. My kids and I were terrified because we saw three running across the kitchen as well as the bedroom. There are holes and gaps everywhere. The door also has cracks in it that leaves rooms for anything to get inside. The staff was nonchalant and you could tell they were used to them. The owner was called by the front desk staff and said they don’t do refunds and offered to switch rooms but we were already checking out. I also asked for a copy of my complaint so that I could dispute the previous night and they said they wouldn’t even do that. Very poor management! As we were leaving I notified someone of the mice as they came into the office and they said there was one in their room last night as well. CLEARLY there is an infestation. The owner said it’s not their problem but it is!! They should be maintaining the property and updating the units. There are all sorts of entrances for anything to come inside! I do not recommend staying here unless you are okay with mice.

Value for the money but ditch the signs

Price was very low, especially given the circumstance: near to the total solar eclipse on the night before. Getting checked in was difficult as the hotel did not have 24-hour desk service, but the hotel made accommodations knowing we would be in around midnight. Our interaction with staff was pleasant. At the front desk and in our rooms, there were signs threatening additional charges and even prosecution for "violations" such as making noise, having guests in our room, or putting our trash in the wrong containers. I think it was just bluster. The facility was old but well maintained and very clean. The wi-fi and appliances worked well. The hotel was a bit hard to find late at night.
