“Just back from a lovely stay at the Black Bull Inn. Staff were friendly and welcoming it's in a lovely location for parking and amenities. We had the luxury of staying in room 14 which featured a four poster bed, the room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing thank you cant wait to visit again.”

“The hotel is part of the service area on the A1 but, unlike most such hotels, it offers good food as well as comfortable accommodation. We were impressed with the welcome we received - and our dog was happy with the positive attention he received! The chap on reception was able to recommend a good parking spot in Bamburgh, where we were keen to take the dog for a long walk! All in all, a good place to stop!”

“Un lugar muy auténtico. El apartamento es perfecto para una familia de 4. Limpio, amplio, cómodo. Dispones de lo necesario para tu estancia. El restaurante sirve comida de calidad y las raciones son enormes. Nos atendieron estupendamente. La zona es preciosa. Esta vez nuestra estancia tuvo que ser corta pero esperamos volver para disfrutar más tiempo del lugar. ”

“Excellent service with the food absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend. On a small note my wife who is partially sighted could not clearly see some of the steps when going down the stairs due to the pattern of the carpet. This however was the only issue with the rest of hotel/ pub be excellently set out and presented. Breakfast was also exquisite. Overall a 5 star stay just make the stairs down more visible for anyone who is visually impaired.”

“We had a very comfortable stay at the wheatsheaf in Swindon, staff were friendly and welcoming, a bar that was open for drinks and places to sit and relax. Our room was comfortable although window wouldn’t stay open to let in fresh air as it was a warm day outside. Our even meal was delicious with a good choice of menu. Breakfast was also good and the service was swift. a great start to our day. All in all an enjoyable stay would revisit this hotel again in the future.”
