The inn was beautiful from the grounds to the decor. The furnishings were period authentic and absolutely beautiful. John messaged with specific instructions helping our late checkin go smoothly. Parking was easy also. Breakfast was delicious as it is cooked as ordered. The towels were thick and nice. There were several benches and tables throughout the grounds for enjoying the outdoors. If you are looking for a charming getaway, this is the place. It was also within 15 minutes of some of Augusta's fun attractions like Top Golf, Dave and Busters and a movie theater. We definitely will be staying here again.

The property is so authentic to the original structure, filled with antiques, it's like stepping back in time, only with better plumbing! Lynda was the perfect hostess. She anticipated that we would need a first floor room without my asking. The property was accessible to my parents who have mobility issues. We enjoyed our made to order breakfast, including gluten free toast. Not a lot of dining near the property that we could see, although there is a list of restaurants in the room.

The Lookaway Inn is a wonderful spot. The room was spacious and cozy. The breakfast was excellent. John is a great host. Easy to navigate, great location. If you are staying in Augusta this is the place to be.

Great Stay

Great spot in a quaint area. If you like history then stay here. John is great about local history, plus the beauty of the Inn is well worth the stay. The breakfast was great, room was very roomy, hot shower, comfy bed. Couldn’t ask for more.

This is a beautiful historic home that is now an inn. It is wonderfully decorated and maintained. The dining room table was set with lovely linens and the eggs and sausage were made to order.
