The resort is gorgeous, staff works hard to maintain the landscaping. We had a nice stay with a few improvement suggestions: the beach definitely needs more loungers as people just put their towels on them and then leave for hours; snack menu needs more options, unacceptable to only have 3 options and more nonalcoholic drinks need to be included, as the options were minimal; staff definitely needs training in customer service, as the people at the reception had an attitude like you were disturbing them and not helpful, for example our room at check-in was not ready until 6:30 pm, that is an additional 3 hours after we checked in and when we asked if we could have a 2 pm check out we were told that is not possible; room cleaning was not consistent, even with leaving tips; bathrooms needs to be checked as there is some mold starting to develop around; food was hit or miss, but a lot of options to choose from, some was overcooked, some undercooked; one of the water slides was not working and kids definitely need to be careful walking on the stones next to slides as my lil one cut her toe walking to the slides; no lifeguards present, which we were not expecting at such a big resort. Beautiful resort, but definitely lower your expectations, at this is not at the same level with the all inclusive resorts from the Caribbean. We did love the cuban entertainers, we had a nice time at Minos and with some changes it can be a great place.
