We loved our stay at this resort! One of the highlights was the pool and also the spa. I got a facial and massage with Michaela, and it was so relaxing! The pool had incredible views, I enjoyed my time there. The only reason I didn't give my stay 5 stars is the room. There were stairs from the main room to the bathroom and during our last night I tripped down the stairs. It was at night and even though we left a light on they added a little bit of a barrier to using the bathroom. If you are booking a room here and hesitant about the stairs, check with the staff about moving to a different room. Everything else was great. The AC worked good, plunge pool was enjoyable, and the beach in front of the hotel was so nice as well. We were there for about 3 hours and the water was great.

I have to start by saying that the Customer Relations Manager is amazing. She was extremely helpful and professional, and she was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. On our first day, the staff was great, but unfortunately, the experience went downhill from there. Parking is very difficult to find, and if you ask the hotel for assistance, they charge you extra for it. The pool closes at 6:00 PM — not one second later. The staff will make sure to inform you of this, but unfortunately, not always in the most polite way. This is particularly frustrating considering that the sun stops hitting the pool directly and intensely around 5:45 PM or shortly after. At the pool bar, we ordered fresh orange juice, but we were served the classic boxed juice instead. We informed the hotel about this, yet they still tried to charge us for it. Fortunately, the reception staff understood the situation and helped resolve it. The sauna, which is promoted as one of the hotel's facilities, also comes with an additional charge if you want to use it. It was also my partner's birthday, which I informed the hotel about more than once. Unfortunately, the hotel did absolutely nothing to acknowledge it — not even a small gesture or a late check-out. Overall, this is a 4-star hotel (maybe) with a really good location and a great Customer Relations Manager. Unfortunately, that is about it. In my opinion, this hotel is by no means a 5-star property, nor is it anywhere close to providing a 5-

Stayed at NIKO for a long weekend in mid October - we had the BEST weather (sunny and warm but not too hot) and really enjoyed our time there. The views are just stunning (definitely recommend sea-view rooms). Great service and attention to detail. Breakfast buffet is excellent and all hotel staff from reception to bar/restaurant are incredibly nice and helpful. Thanks in particular to Manos, the night receptionist for being so helpful and welcoming when I arrived so early in the morning!

Nearly beachfront property

Nice resort across the street from a beach where you can swim in the Mediterranean or just relax in a lounge chair. 5-10 minute walk to town with plenty of shops and restaurants. Stayed 2 nights it included a breakfast buffet by the pool each morning views were fantastic and food was alright. It’s a big buffet so hard to have super fresh. Room it’s was comfortable and quiet.

Love it can't wait to return

Room was very clean, lovely amenities, felt very luxurious. Delicious food, musicians at breakfast even! Would highly recommend it to all. Only low score was for eco-friendliness because we have no idea about their environmental considerations, and we were regularly served plastic straws wrapped individually in more plastic, and with Crete being windy the straws and wrappers were flying littering everywhere.

This hotel is fantastic. The design is superb, maximising on the wonderful sea views. The adults only element means that you really can enjoy some peace and relaxation, while having all the benefits of Agios Nikolaos town centre just 7 minutes walk away. The breakfast was delicious and varied, and all of the staff were so helpful and welcoming. We will come again!
