The stay was great in a suite, easily accessible as not too far from airport. Views are brilliant and hotel looks like an authentic village It is very family oriented with kids Breakfast is good, but i recommend to take lunch and dinner elsewhere in the area where you have plenty of excellent options.

We had an absolute blast at this resort — everything about it was amazing! What stood out most for us was how family-friendly it was. Each restaurant had something for the kids to do, and it was never frowned upon to have them run around — quite the opposite. The staff was incredible with our children and made us feel so welcome. We’re all the way from Canada and would absolutely come back. Thank you for such a memorable stay!

It was our our happy place and fantastatic for relaxation! The sea view from our suite was incredible. We liked the hotel so much that we extended our stay. Thanks to everyone from the staff who made our stay great, especially to the kind receptionist who did literally everything to get the preferred birthday cake for our son. It is a wonderderful place!

We had a good stay at Candia resorts. The property looks lovely, the rooms were clean, the food was good. However, we had several concerns. Primarily, we had called in advance and been assured that almost 4 year old would be allowed to attend Kids Club alone, but when we arrived we were told this was not possible. We were frustrated as we had booked entirely on this basis. It took over 24 hours for us to be able to contact a manager, who then suggested that I shouldn't trust the kids club to look after my child. The approach to their error was really disappointing. We generally found communication poor, our room was set up for the wrong number of people and we often didn't have the correct towels in the room. Overall the resort was lovely, but the customer service was disappointing.

The best part about this hotel is its setting and outdoor areas. Absolutely stunning. The beach is a sandy cove and swimming pool lovely with shallower one for children and a deeper area for adults and older children. The rooms were dated but clean, and with gorgeous views from balcony, less so from the ground floor. They are arranged in small blocks with two downstairs and two upstairs rooms per block. We had two rooms but were in different blocks despite asking to be together. Air conditioning was provided and excellent. A small kitchenette in each room with a fridge and a hob meant we could cook pasta a couple of evenings to keep costs down. We had a hire car and drove to Lidl with was 10 mins away to stock up. The onsite shop was small. Breakfast was fine- all outdoor seating which was shaded. Food laid out buffet style inside. There was ample with wasps crawling on all of the food the first few days that we were there which was off putting. I stuck to Greek yogurt for most of the week and only began braving the fruit towards the end when the wasps were more under control. We ate in the onsite restaurant a few times and it was very good, lovely atmosphere and sea view. Cost €150 for five of us including wine and cokes, so quite expensive, but they have a captive audience. All in all I would return.

A dream vacation.

Amazing family vacation! A holiday resort designed for families, a large pool, 2 private beaches, a bar with amazing views. Rooms are large and clean. The hotel staff are nice and answer any request. Close to 2 picturesque Greek towns. A dream vacation.

Spent 5 nights in a self catering unit at Candia Park. The hotel was what you would expect from a popular holiday package hotel, but we felt it was a little pricey.
