Not that typical Ginger hotel

It was just ok. we asked for non smoking rooms but they first gave us smoking and after that we have to change rooms. Lot of time wasted because of that. Towels were not clean, had smell and had to change! This was not typical Ginger. They usually have quality but this was not that well trained staff i think.

Comfort Inn at AGARTALA

Beyond expectation and exceptional services. Could not ask for more for my bucks comparing my world wide travel experiences. Barnali of reception desk went out of her way to help us and made our stay comfortable. Will stay again, when we are at Agartala next, but unfortunately my email to hotel manager remained without response.

Not quite to int'l budget standards

I've been to a number of budget hotel chains around the world of this same level and this would sit slightly below average. I rated it an overall 3.0 but it really deserves a 2.5. The staff were great but the rooms could do with better maintenance. The first room I stayed in was poor, but the second was ok, so it was inconsistent. That said, after also staying in the Hotel Somraj in the city centre, I would probably rank this as the best hotel in Agartala - perhaps even Tripura State. As an added bonus, there is a Coffee Day just behind the hotel.
