Old-school pub vibes with amazing staff and great drinks. The rooms are pretty basic for the price, and could definitely use a renovation, but they did the job for a short stay. Overall, a solid experience, I’d definitely come back!

This is a great location and a traditional pub. The accommodation is “old school” devoid of any modern fixtures and fittings and complete with creaky floorboards and old simple furniture and I loved it! Especially the balcony. Showers were hot and powerful, I slept well. Staff were great, enjoyed the food. Just great!

Fantastic location but being a pub very loud music (if you like to sleep early for bike riding) Very reasonably priced convenient to heart of city. Staff were awesome. Room was relatively clean and tidy. However, the refrigeration outside of the room ran all night. No A/C in room and it was rather warm overnight. As a result, we had a terrible night's sleep. I know it's an old building, but it is 2026. Also, no tea, coffee or even a bottle of water in the fridge. Somewhat disappointing..

Very convenient place to stay, staff were good although we interacted only at check in. We were aged 69 and 64 and were given 2 bunk beds and 1 single bed which was okay, but the single bed was no good, the springs were gone and you literally sink into the bed.

The room was clean and tidy and the location was very good. Only negative was the noise level. The bars don't close until late on Friday and Saturday so noise from the patrons, particularly in the area on the street was very annoying as it went on until the early hours of the morning..
