Excellent stay at Ethiopian Skylight Hotel. The staff were friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the location near the airport was very convenient. The gym was really really, really great. It’s hard to find a good gym overseas, but this one was really good. The food in the restaurants was really good and we ordered room service one night and it was excellent. I wish they had a better wine list but that’s being a little picky. Only very small thing I would be critical of was the tour representative. There was not very helpful and insisted into doing things her way rather than what we wanted.

From the haircut I received from Betty the Barber to the massage I received from Johnny the best masseuse I have ever had I truly enjoyed the world class spa experience Skylight Hotel offers. Sky is an amazing hotel located in one of the best neighborhoods in Addis. It’s also an excellent option for red eye flights as it is located very close to the airport and provides free shuttle back and forth. I have stayed multiple times and every single time it has been an exceptional experience.

The room was great - spotless, with a very comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower and nice towels. The shuttle was very convenient - when you arrive at the airport, you need to ask the people at the desk as you get close to the exit to let the hotel know to come get you. Only downer was that the food was OK. Not bad, but not great either. Overall, a great place to stay in Addis.
