“First of all, the room didn’t resemble any of the pictures shown on the website. Our room reeked of old cigarr and we had to have our Windows opened at all times. The beds were not comfortable and really worn out, and the toilet and the shower resembled more those found aboard ships. The staff couldn’t speak one Word in english, but Google translate did the trick. The breakfast was really simple with limited options. We were not satisfied with the overall experience.”

Since I travel with my dog, I always look for places that are not only dog-friendly but also practical for small getaways from Belgium by train. For this trip, I wanted something relaxed at the end of summer, with good hikes nearby, a terrace for my dog to sunbathe, and a room with at least a fridge and microwave so I could eat a bit healthier.
