I really enjoyed this hotel. It's a little run down from it's former glory...but the staff are genuinely welcoming. From the first contact to the last. Pool is nice. Gym is fine, except non of the weights are particularly heavy. Juliette on reception was excellent. And please try the goat light red soup...it was excellent.

We arrived early in the morning and the room was already waiting for us. It was large required with a desk, fridge, a patio, and a roomy bathroom. The place was spotless and the staff did an excellent job keeping it that way. The breakfast buffet was great with a nice selection to satisfy every taste. We made good use of the pool which was super nice. The in-pool bar was a nice perk. The outdoor restaurant was really nice serving up nice local dishes with lots of seafood. They also made some excellent cocktails. I'm short, we loved our stay at this hotel and would love to visit again.

Definitely recommended. Delicious food, and the staff encouraged me to try all the Ghanaian specialties! Try them all, especially the muddy looking juice that’s full of ginger, cardamom and such like.

The electric sockets sizzled and lights blinked every time I plugged anything in. Access to the beach is difficult and requires scheduling with staff therefore returning from the beach requires navigating other locations or businesses to get to the road. The spa wasn’t operating. The place is very clean and staff are kind but their claim the place was renovated within 5 years was a misrepresentation or else they may mean “upgraded.”

The hotel itself is very tired and definitely not the star rating you give it. The hotel is lacking investment and management who train newer staff. That said, there are some members of staff who are exceptional and made the stay really enjoyable.

Enjoyed my stay

A very nice resort that gives off a boutique feel with the chalets. Stayed at a junior suite chalet and absolutely loved it. It features a full sized fridge and microwave tucked away in a fairly sized kitchen space. Enjoyed the continental/buffet style breakfast as well. The staff was very courteous as well. All in all, I would definitely recommend and would stay again if I had the chance.

I truly loved my stay at La Palm. The grounds are gorgeous. The suite we stayed in was beautiful. The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. The continental breakfast was nice and had a good selection. I will stay here again.
