I was delighted with my stay at the Hotsson hotel. The place was spotless and the housekeeper made sure it stayed that way during my stay. I loved the customer service from everyone in the hotel, from the front desk the restaurant, the bartenders, and all the security personnel around the hotel. The hotel itself is decent. Spacious room, comfortable bed and really nice view. The pool area is nice, as is the beach. While some staff (like the valet and pool guys) were friendly with great service, I can't say the same for the front desk and secuity staff. We had a very unpleasant experience too long to describe here after arriving back to the property early in the morning from a concert. I will point out we were completely sober and not unruly. The front desk and security were very unprofessional and we were treated badly and with undue suspicion of not really being guests. Security wouldn't even let my wife use a nearby bathroom while we tried to sort out the issue with them and she was in extreme discomfort needing the restroom. We also had a staff member barge into our room on the scond night after only one quick knock. They entered before we could even acknowledge that we were in the room, and we were in bed and not clothed. Not so much as an apology as the staff member quickly exited when they realized we were there. I'm still not even sure why they were entering the room in the first place as the room had been cleaned earlier and we reported no issue in need of service. We were also never acknowledged as VIP expedia and were not given our welcome perk. The wifi also was super slow and at times completely gone. The hotel could definitely train staff better, starting with common courtesy.
