The room was spacious and clean (looks like it's recently been renovated). Location is good, in walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bike rentals. The included continental breakfast was good (enough) and convenient. The water pressure is fairly weak, but it seems like that's a typical thing that most hotels do nowadays (for water conservation). In general, we like the hotel/room and would stay there again.

Room was decent in size. Questionable if room was throughly cleaned in between guests. Because we found a fresh blueberry on our floor (we didnt have any blueberries with us- therefore must have been left from previous guests). The swimming pool and hot tub were disgusting. I don't think they've cleaned it all summer. Breakfast was good and variety of options. Location was excellent.

The lobby of this hotel welcomed us with a clean blue beach theme and shining tiled floors. A lovely spacious room and great breakfast. We enjoyed a long walk on the beach during our relaxing stay.

Staff was really nice. The amenities were okay. The heated pool was nice and I know our little kids appreciated it. However the workout room was pretty sad, they had maybe 2 machines and a bench but no free weights. Walkable distance to the beach which was definitely a bonus. The room was perfect and spacious enough for the four of us. Their free breakfast was also nice - they had hot foods available which isn't always available with free breakfast so that was really nice. I've stayed at a better hotel just down the road but this hotel wasn't bad either.

We stay here every year and really love it. The rooms are very big, especially the deluxe ones. I wish there was a fold out couch, but someone always sleeps on the couch as is anyway. It's SO big, you could fit a lot of people in the room (but, occupancy limits...) Our favorite part is the pool. It's WARM, like the jets blow out hot water into the pool. There is also a hot tub. But the the steamy warm pool is unique, no other hotel has a warm pool and a hot tub. They also have a free laundry room, which was a blessing. Easy parking. Close to the beach. Very laid back hotel and staff, Ocean Shores and the BayVue are the definition of a "sleepy town"

Location is amazing. Love the free breakfast. The pool was a little hot compared to normal temp. Rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Easy check in and out. We've stayed here before and will be back. I think the only thing is not sure why family rooms weren't on the bottom floor, as we were on the bottom and can hear kids running and jumping above us. Not that it was a big deal to us. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast is poorly spaced out. There is no room to sit and dine in, and there are no healthy options. I had the queen suite, with a pull-out couch. The room was cleanish, but the AC unit did not work. Was denied being moved to another room. The room never got below 79 degrees. That was even with opening the window as far as we could. The room was a hot box. We will not stay at this location again.

We loved it here! We had a long day of travel and ended up arriving much later than we planned, so unfortunately we missed out on using the pool, but that was on us. They kindly allowed us a late checkout. The place is gorgeous, loved the decor and it was very clean. Good complimentary breakfast, and the staff were very knowledgeable about the area and attractions/beaches for us to check out. Very nice family friendly atmosphere.

The room was comfortable and staff good. We liked having the buffet breakfast, although the menu options were more on the fast-food side and not on the quality or healthy side (for example, yogurt was a sugary brand). Regardless, the location was convenient and the hotel overall reasonable.

Breakfast bar great and ladies maintaing food and cleanup great, room generally clean minus a stain on the carpet, and the staff nice. Good location and decent far away view of the ocean. Traffic noise not so great while the motorcycle rally was going on, bad timing on our part. The maintenance and repair work ..or latest designs were bright and modern but details not so great. Too much caulking in bathroom, paint on wall plates and thin paint at celing edge...you can see streaks of white behind tan. Painting and caulking seemed rushed or not so great workers, but liked the bright feel just not the quality of workmanshipwhich makes it look cheap
