It was very scottish tradional posh house hotel. Staff were very polite and helpful. We loved the Laird & Soapies bar, and was given a very warm Nigerian welcome, lifting the atmosphere, and entrraining the guests.

Rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Breakfast buffet was excellent,.. the selection was the best I have seen. The Bar staff was so friendly and service was excellent. This hotel is centrally located and ideal to travel to the many sites near by. The staff could of been more helpful when we experienced issues with our traveling companions' room entry card that needed to be re-coded several times over our 5 day stay.

We started off with a lovely afternoon tea, then checked into our lovely and spacious room. We were delighted to find that it had a fridge for us to keep our fizz chilled. We then had a lovely walk around the hotel grounds and went for a bar dinner. The menu was extensive and well priced. The hotel was buzzing, which we didn’t expect for a Sunday night, so great atmosphere. Would highly recommend!

We recently stayed at Ardoe House Hotel & Spa and had a lovely time exploring the gorgeous 30-acre estate and historic mansion grounds. The character of the building is fantastic, and it is full of beautiful local heritage. ​The breakfast offered a good selection of options and everything served was fresh, which was a nice start to the morning. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful when we were navigating the property and looking at the various historic function suites. ​The only downside to our stay was that our room was not quite as clean as we would have expected for a hotel of this standard. It just needed a bit more attention to detail during the changeover. However, the rest of the hotel's charm, the great atmosphere, and the lovely grounds still made for an enjoyable visit.
