The hosts can’t do enough for you, everything is perfect from arrival until you leave, the breakfasts are fantastic. It’s by far the nicest accommodation we have ever stayed at.

The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Karolyn and Chris provided everything we could need. They gave us great advice on special places of interest. We enjoyed 2 evenings sitting by a roaring fire in the visitors lounge, and 2 mornings of excellent food with a wide choice. The house is historic and oozes charm and comfort.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at Disblair House - the room was very comfortable with everything that we needed. Breakfast was amazing - so much choice and everything delicious. Karolyn and Chris are delightful hosts - very friendly and hospitable. The lounge with open fire and honesty bar were an added bonus in the evening. We highly recommend it to anyone and would love to return.

I travel a lot for work, and it was great to find this little hotel off the beaten track. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and well laid out, with plenty of space. I used the link in the booking confirmation to find the hotel without any trouble, but take care to follow the signs.

We were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful Disblair House was. The public area was extremely warm and inviting with a real fire in the fireplace each evening! And an honesty bar to enjoy too! My wife and I love houses with real character. We enjoyed sitting in a two hundred year old living room, open fire, glass of something in hand- lord of the manor! Very relaxing- really quiet- excellent breakfast. First class hosts- would like to go back some time.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Disblair House Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning were amazing! The best we had our entire trip in Scotland, we stayed at 5 different hotels on our trip.

Such a brilliant find! Wonderful hosts, comfy bed, amazing house, HUGE breakfast selection and quiet location. We were only passing through for one night, but we will be back! Not a single negative from us, but be aware that Disblair House is in the country and not walking distance to town.

Hone away from home

Fantastic stay. The hosts make you feel part of their home. I only wish we were able to stay longer. Such a beautiful home. It was wonderful to wake up with a deer right outside of the window. Breakfast was delicious and by far the best we have had yet.
