“Amazing property, dining and staff. Variety of activities from relaxing to adventurous and inbetween. Hope to return someday!”

“We visited during our honeymoon tour of NZ. The property is so beautiful and we often felt like the only guests. The restaurant in the hotel has a multi-course experience that was one of the best meals that we had during our trip.”

“Absolutely beautiful. Staff excellent, restaurant world-class, vineyards and grounds meticulously presented. We stayed in a 2-bed cabin & even the design of the cabin, complementary bottle of Craggy Range wine, and daily generous stocking of breakfast supplies were a great experience. Loved Craggy Range! ”

“No information or contact upon arrival regarding wifi, had to knock on the owners door a few hours later to ask, and the owner let his dogs attack me. Luckily I am not an old lady who couldve fallen over or someone terrified of dogs, but that was unacceptable. The property itself was fantastic.”

“Interesting historic place. Pleasant place to relax and a great base for exploring the Hawke's Bay. Spent 3 nights there, service is good and the staff very helpful. Stayed in the "William Nelson Suite" and we could relax on the verandah or in the grounds with its historic trees.”
