“Stayed with my wife for a one night break. The room itself was very nice and clean but unfortunately the bathroom/toilet had a rather unpleasant smell suggesting there were issues with the drains. It had been raining and the French window door had a poor seal at the bottom so the carpet there was wet. In the morning the hot water was only luke warm (we were told there was possibly a problem with the boiler and given an apology but nothing else). The bar lacked a nice seating area for hotel...

“A beautiful house in a great location. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. All the little extras had been thought of e.g. torches just in case as we stayed during a storm, an afternoon cake and a corkscrew in the room! Lovely hosts - we will definitely return.”
