If you want a break from the crowded touristy areas of Zanzibar; I highly recommend Treetop. Just be aware that off property it’s a distance to find restaurants or proper markets. But Treetop is so good for a quiet restful stay in Zanzibar. It’s also very close to Jozani Forest which is a major attraction for nature and wildlife ”

“Just arrived back in cold Denmark - After have stayed at this fantastic UHURU Beach for 2 weeks, everything was exactly as expected. The entire staff, from the maids, waiters, receptionists, to the management, went out of their way to ensure we had a great holiday and we did. The hotel is fantastic, authentic, cosy, everything was nice and clean.
