“This is a new hotel so the facilities are in great condition. The room was huge, with an additional outdoor shower and a great view. Dinner (steak) was outstanding. Only thing to watch out for is the road getting to the hotel. Watch out for the potholes and stray animals. ”

The staff here were brilliant though couldn’t help the first night went over and above to ensure the second was in a suitable room we had booked with balcony and sea view ”

“This was my first time staying at Hillcrest and it was so lovely! The owner and her staff were extremely welcoming, the room was comfortable, breakfast was fantastic. The location is convenience to restaurants, a mall, and the beach. I will definitely be back!”

“My family was excited to spend the new year's weekend in east London as we were staying in a rural area just outside. The staff were fantastic and we felt safe and comfortable. Our only regret is the pool needed attention from the time we arrived and never got any up until we left. The pool was one of the draws and it was a bit too far gone for us to even clean with the basket ourselves (which we would have gladly done.) I loved though the space we had and the little braai area and kitchen....

“Mostly very good. Very clean and neat. Jo and her team were very hospitable. My room had a very small basin though and with the large mirror hanging above, made it extremely difficult to wash.”
