“Camp Figtree was absolutely wonderful - stunning location, wonderful lodgings, fabulous food, and the loveliest people...It's a very special place and we felt a real pang when it was time to leave. Everything was managed smoothly throughout with fab communication from Karin who arranged transfers and safari days for us (and was very patient with assorted queries!) before we even arrived. All the team we met were fantastically welcoming...to name a few, Wicky (excellent driving and conversation),...

“Unique property, a home rather than a hotel, clean, personalised, caring service .. overall excellent !!”

“This hotel is aware of our unfortunate experience. They are dealing with it in a positive manner.”

So we could constantly hear noise of the kitchen preparations, plates and bins being emptied and staff singing and talking rather...

“Pleasant experience ”

“Room was clean. Staff attentive. ”

“We were warmly welcomed by Claudette at the Brighton Lodge after our scheduled accommodation was unfortunately hit with storm problems. Claudette helped us with our future accommodations and was very helpful with directions. We feel Claudette went over and above to make our stay a fabulous experience. Yes we would recommend the Brighton Lodge in Port Elizabeth”

Gute Lage .”

“A beautiful place, stunning views, clean, and full of atmosphere. We stayed for 3 nights for a safari in Addo and Amakhala. Delicious breakfasts. The owners are very nice and helpful. On the way to Ikwanistsha, my car's windshield cracked; they helped me fill out the insurance paperwork and booked an appointment for a windshield replacement in Port Elizabeth. The accommodation is in a remote location and not the cheapest, but worth every dollar. We will remember the view from the terrace and the...
