“The cabin was fabulous, everything we were looking for our fall adventure. The cabin was spotless and the motif fit the name of the cabin, adorable. Mountain View, cozy gas fireplace and pet friendly. Josh ( guest service) was absolutely wonderful, helpful and accommodating. We ran into Tom ( manager) our first day and he shared some of the history of the property. We ate at both the “Hut” and “The Seesaw”restaurant, great service and delicious food. We will be back!”

“This is a beautiful, historic property and pretty consistent with the photos on the website. The room I had was just as pretty with some antique furnishings, but of course in person you notice that it is an old building. The room was a great size, and I loved the hardwood floors. The bathroom was also large and you are provided a sundry of items for convenience. The bed was comfortable, though it did seem to have a center depression. Sunrise at the Glastenbury Mountain Fire Tower on the Appalachian Trail. We didn't intentionally wake up for sunrise, but our habit on our Thru-Hike has been to rise around 0430 and 0500, so we're usually warming up with the sun.
