“Such a beautiful grand hallway and wet friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the time we arrived.”

“We stayed for 1 night only in early October. The 2 bedroom apartment was excellent. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean and tidy, as was the lounge area. There was ample parking in the basement area. The walk to the township of Paihia was along the sea-shore and was very pleasant, and close to the ferry terminal where we caught the ferry to Russell.”

“Great view of the Ocean! Everything was clean and we had everything we needed. Please note that there isn’t air conditioning, but there is a fan and with the windows open there is usually a breeze. We loved the accommodations and the owners were very kind and offered recommendations for things to see around the Northland!”

“The apartment was very comfortable, with absolutely everything you need for self catering, including milk and coffee/tea making facilities (and a tea pot!). The bed was comfortable. Absolutely stunning view on two sides. Would stay again, without hesitation. ”

“This is such a lovely retreat, all credit to manager Kelly and her family. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and it was much appreciated. The refurbished rooms were nice, clean and warm and the private shower was awesome. We had an awesome time and were lucky to see two kiwi on the grass near the bush even though it was raining, and we heard lots more. It was really magical!”
