“Dirty property. Dirty linens, sheets, towels. Dust and crumbs everywhere. Wrong hand soaps provided. Off-brand toiletries. It took 12 hr for the host to respond the first night. I could have stayed elsewhere for much cheaper and cleaner. ”

First, I have to say our VRBO by another host cancelled 3 hours while we were on our way to Palm Springs, and we were scrambling to find somewhere to stay for 4 days for our daughters cheer competition. When looking for places at that time, this listing popped up and we decided to book it.
