“For our one-night stay in Kandy, this hotel was the perfect base, centrally located and easy to get around from. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and our room was comfortable and well-appointed. We were also pleased with the variety on offer at both breakfast and dinner buffets, with plenty of options to suit different tastes. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay in the heart of Kandy.”

“Excellent location. Room was nice and comfortable. One issue - the wash basin in the bath room did not drain well and there was blockage. As a result there was some smell coming off the bathroom. Shower door did not close well - as a result there was water leakage”

“Clean and crisp is no small feat in a hotel room in Sri Lanka. This hotel was near spotless. My only problem was the room window opened to a concrete wall, a sad thing when Kandy has so many wonderful views. The staff was wonderful and the Tables restaurant upstairs did have great atmosphere with wonderful views. ”

“Låg helt off, jättesvårt att hitta. Maten tog 1,5 h o va kall när vi fick den. Beställde vatten o fick i en kanna. Vi va helt själva o ändå hade dom inget till chauffören. Fanns inget att dricka på hotellet. Dom va trevliga där mot oss. Så inge fel på service. Helthetskänslan va väldigt creepy. ”

We were very well looked after by the very helpful staff who provided all that was needed, communication with manger was excellen.The property is on a hill and you can have an amazing view from the balcony overlooking the green mountains and the waterfalls, Food served at the restaurant was tasty. “We had a wonderful stay at the Kandy House. Its location outside the central area allowed us to have a tranquil and restful break from the hustle of the city. Yet, we were still within about a 10 minute drive of the Kandy Lake area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was particularly roomy.
