“Stay often, so it must be good”

“Very clean property, great pub with a fantastic breakfast.”

“Although the building could do with a little tlc in places, our room was large, clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent and bar food really good too. The bar area is fairly small and well used by locals but we did find a table both nights we were there. The biggest plus for us were the staff who are efficient and friendly and we wouldn’t hesitate to return if in the area. It’s in a quiet area but there are plenty of walks and an ideal base for exploring other towns and sites.”

“Beautiful location, very clean, friendly staff, delicious food. We will definitely visit again, thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!”

“The room was immaculate, staff were lovely and friendly and so helpful. The food was hot tasty and such good value for money. Will absolutely be back. Thank you for making us so welcome”

“Wat een geweldige plek. Het hotel hoort bij een fantastisch restaurant en de kamers zijn van dezelfde hoge kwaliteit. De omgeving Yorkshire Dales is ook prachtig. Een mekka voor wandelen en fietsen”

“Received room on the Keighley Road with rip roaring traffic which the windows and curtains couldn’t keep out. The welcome was fine but there was nobody with whom to check out.”

“Kind and helpful staff do everything to make your stay enjoyable. Beautiful garden behind the property. Excellent breakfast.”

“All good”

“Good location for the National Park and good food.”

“The cottage is a great place to stay and an excellent value. Nicely kept, high standard and a great location. I will certainly consider staying here again.”

“The house was very good, some minor issues, the fridge was not very fresh, had to freshen it up, also some black mould around the bath/ shower so cleaned that as well. Watered the plants but clear no other guests had, also previous guests leaving cigarette ends in the garden and plant pots, not nice”

“Perfect place for a short stay in Skipton, very easy walk to town centre, we were a bit concerned about on street parking but there were always spaces.”

“We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The only drawback was the Wi-Fi, which took several attempts to connect and was inconsistent. We didn’t use the pool.”

“We can’t rate this hotel as when arrived wet, hungry and tired after a 22 mile walk the Old Hall Inn was CLOSED FOR BUSINESS and has been since January 2025!! We booked this last October 2024 but no one thought to let us know We are really not impressed with the service Then to add insult to injury Hotels.com asked us to review our non-existent stay We have yet to hear from Hotels.com with an explanation or at the very least an apology ”
