“Room was freezing tiny wall heater mouldy towels”

“Lovely stay here. Easy free parking. Very welcoming and helpful staff. Room was spotlessly clean. Easy to walk into Ashburton centre.”

“A perfect experience in every sense. Had a lot of trouble to make it to Devon from London and the owners helped me through all the process, giving me information about check-in and check-out dates and how to cancel the first night when I couldn't make it there at time. The room is spacious, the bed is very comfortable, and breakfasts are tasty. I felt at home all the time, especially with how lovely the landlady is! Eternally thankful to her and to her caring, I will return to beautiful Devon as...

“Good food great chef”

“I booked as a work stay over.. the location close to Exeter was spot on and the amount of parking were key to the booking. The room was Brilliant, large, comfy with great views. I managed to get a walk in the evening to explore, but i feel i need to come back to see more! Thanks again!”

“Nice old pub building in the centre of the small town. Down stairs arras were very nice with a cosy and traditional atmosphere. On checking in was advised kitchen was closed for 2 of the 3 nights. Breakfast (American pancakes) was very poor. Room was ok but tired around the edges. Very few power points and signs of a long term leak from shower which is always off putting. A REALLY noisy AC/ chiller unit below the bedroom window was pretty annoying Not a bad place, but at £145 a night i...

“We had a lovely stay, the cottage was very clean and tidy, super cosy, the bed and bedding were very comfortable. We had everything we needed there for a short stay. Would definitely go back. ”

“Perfect, Parking, Room, Facilities all fantastic. Very clean rooms & the staff are always smiling & polite. The receptionist was so helpful in solving a problem Will definitely book again”

“The bungalow was exactly as described but even better than we expected for a holiday let. A large open-plan and well-appointed lounge/diner/kitchen. The views from the site were lovely. It was quiet and there were several walks around the woods. The site is hilly so be prepared for some exercise! We did not use the pool but it looked very good from the outside. The grounds are well-kept and all the staff were first-class. The charity relies on volunteers and they do an excellent job. We...

“We had a wonderful stay at Ash lodge. The lodge was very clean and we got to enjoy lots of beautiful sunsets and make use of the fantastic pool. It was like a home away from home, but even more comfortable and peaceful. We loved to see the chickens and cows and being treated to aunties home made cupcakes upon arrival was just what we needed. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.”
