“Really clean room had everything you need. Staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. Shops were a five minute walk but down a steep hill but we didn't mind.”

“Fabulous bed and breakfast with superb food - a huge and delicious breakfast. All food in the restaurant was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely comfortable and clean room and very comfortable bed. Loved our stay here. Train station is less than a 5 minute walk away.”

“Perfect room for a short stay.”

“Nice enough but wasn't really worth what I paid for it. 4 poster bed was rickety and loose, only had half a roll of toilet paper, and the bathroom looked like it was in desperate need of a makeover and bath label was hanging off. Staff were nice but the building and it's facilities desperately need updating.”

“Do not be taken in by old reviews, something has changed and now this hotel no longer provides breakfast (or any meals) neither does it provide housekeeping service. We found the whole property grubby and neglected. Our shower leaked everywhere and despite the outside temperature being 5 degrees C the central heating wasn’t working and hot water was intermittent. “Perfect B&B. Sue and John were very welcoming and couldn't have done more for us. Room was very spacious and comfortable. It was well equipped with lots of attention to detaill. Everything was spotlessly clean in the room and the communal areas. Breakfast was excellent with a good choice . Only downside was the road which was a bit challenging but we got used to it!”

“Uniquely property, fantastic host.”

“The property was well appointed Please note that the only at to locate the property on a main street over half mile long is the photo of the key safe box and French doors . There is no property name or street number on the property. A lady living some 25 meters away didnt know of the property! A street number or the property name above the front door on the street would be helpful.”

“A lovely stay. A roomy cottage in a great location. Clean and comfortable. We'd definitely stay again.”

“Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!”
