“Stayed here as an entry point to the South West Coastal path so whilst the town itself only has a pub and a post office, it was perfect for a 1 night stay before starting a long walk. There's also a local bus which goes a few times a day. Big room, very clean and comfortable, great breakfast included. Lovely stay.”

“Very nice spacious apartment Lovely views and great location Car park is very small and tight Above a pub so can be noisy The pubs kitchen fan is on the balcony which is quite loud so not a very peaceful sit on the balcony Lots of kitchen essentials and games Comfy beds!”

“We had such a lovely stay. The room was great and our hosts were so welcoming. Amazing breakfast 🙂”

“Very friendly landlord, helped with booking taxi for our trip, good breakfast, happy atmosphere in the pub life music in the evening. Spacious room with big beds lots of storage and clean bathroom ”

“location is lovely and secluded. old fashioned rooms and facilities, wifi flaky.”

“The Globe Inn is a classic, old english pub. It is welcoming, as are the owner and the staff. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and have everything that you would need for a stay. It is also conveniently located for access to the coast, and local attractions such as Burgh Island and Salcombe.”

“Everything was so nice and we had very pleasant stay. ”

“Everything was great, exactly as stated, cant fault at all, highly recommend”

“Great location”

“Property itself, communication, support and amenities were great. Can’t fault it. However, it is next to a pub - not a problem if you go to bed after 11pm. If you are staying mid week you will be woken every day multiple times from 6am onwards by various bin-lorries, cleaning staff smashing glass bottles in bins etc right next to the bedrooms. This is not the fault of the property, but guests need to still be aware.”

“The property was bright and well designed. Very comfortable mattress and bed linen. 5 minute walk to the sea. Plenty of shared outdoor space. The bedrooms lead from one into to the other which was fine for us as a couple but wouldn’t suit everyone. The thermostat on the shower was a bit erratic but hopefully mended by now.”
