“The rooms were recently renovated and the beds were comfortable, out door pool was lovely maybe needs a bit of lovin but very nice, breafast was delicious and all staff were amazing would I return to this hotel absolutely. Thanks for a lovely stay guys 😊”

“Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. The water pressure and heat when trying to shower were never consistent (but usually okay). While not a comment about this hotel, know that this area doesn't have much for stuff to do. “A perfectly acceptable place to stay. I've stayed there many times and some of the rooms are wonderful. Room 12 (that I was in this time) is not one of those rooms! It's small, noisy (yards with dogs outside), the bathroom is basic and the bed is not amazing either. Check-in was poor but there was only one chap on duty in a busy Wetherspoons type pub, so he didn't have that much time (or energy) to give me. All in all, just OK, not amazing.”

“Very nice room with sea view, unfortunately very steep stairs to get there and as suffering mobility issues, not the best, although staff were not aware. Breakfast excellent, and evening meal for 7 highly commented on favourably, hot plates and food. Unfortunately a bout of food poisoning occurred overnight, although the source cannot be confirmed but suspected. Would recommend and stay again. Chair to be placed in room in September after renovations will be a bonus.”
