“It is hard to find the bathroom light switch in the dark. An easy fix, but not a great greeting after a long trip. The room was clean but an extra blanket would be nice. I would suggest that you use the word "precisely....at 8:30." Our breakfast was fresh and hot, but another couple came down later after their plates had been served on the table long before they arrived. I don't find any excuse for that. Breakfast was decent but hardly chef-prepared. We learned to ask questions about...

“The property is a treasure. It was a challenge to find in the dark; Google Maps located the cabin well, but the directions were misleading for finding the driveway. A call to the cabin owner's phone helped us with the directions. We had a couple of ambulatory-challenged individuals in our party who had to use the back entrance, as it had the fewest number of steps to climb. The outside steps did not have railings. Inside was clean and inviting. Accommodations were comfortable as well. ”

“The trip was great. The refrige/freezer needed a wipe down, but nothing too bad to call it nasty. It was spacious and clean and fit us perfectly. The only complaint we all had was the pillows were like laying on paper, almost nonexistent. The water smells of sulfur, but provided a water purifier for drinking. Gorgeous property and beautiful surroundings. Enjoyed the fire pit outside. Definitely would recommend to any family. Or a couple wanting a quiet get away. BYOP. Bring your own pillows.”

“The "apartment" we had rented on the first floor was "unavailable" so they have us the whole upstairs. There was no way to secure the upstairs had anytime been in the apartment below. However, no one was on that apartment during our stay l, luckily. It was basically a frat house vibe upstairs, it was 10 degrees overnight and the heat couldn't keep up. We froze while we slept. Not to mention the scurrying in the attic I heard when I was using the bathroom. Should not be listed on hotels.com.”
